STATE OF THE FICTION
We are getting ready to call 2014 done. So Existing In Fiction is now about 4 years old. (Actually it goes back to like 99' but didn't get real till 2010.) We have come a long way. Multiple album releases. A couple podcasts. Selling merch.... and many lessons learned along the way. If you have listened, purchased or shared any of our art, much love to you. Thanks for supporting our artistic endeavors. Hopefully it has added knowledge, wisdom or relaxation to your life. Patterns And Water
Patterns shape our world. Our life. Everyday we engage in familar patterns. Rituals of a consitent nature that provides us security and happiness. Then come events, circumstances or forces that disrupt these patterns, causing turmoil in our daily grind. So the key to thriving during these disruptions is adaptation. To quote the legendary Bruce Lee "Be water my friend". Water takes the shape of wherever or whatever it might be. Fluid in its motion it is hard to grasp. Yet can quench the thrist of those in need. So the key to dealing with these changes is to be formless like water. Be water my friend.

As the vices attempt to clamp down and squeeze your lifestyle, you must be disciplined to navigate from them. The temptations of the world are powerful. They seem to lure us in with the fantastic pleasures derived from them. You know them. You see them everywhere you go. Everywhere you look. Some are even harmless, but when used in excess can be extremely destructive. You KNOW what's good and what's not. Avoid the latter. As far as those things that are "harmless" moderation is key. The Old Is New Again
The time has changed. Mother nature shall soon bless us with an abundance of warm embraces. With that comes a new kind of beauty. Another spectacle of wonderous proportions. So during the upcoming season please stay positive and think before you act. Something about the warmth that tends to amplify conflicts between us human beings. When feeling tense, stop for a moment and breath deeply. Then ponder the situation before making any irrational acts. Is it really that "deep"? Have you been wronged so dramaticaly that you are entertaining morally questionable actions? Stay in the positive. You know what the right decision is. Keep your moral compass centered. Stay on your path. Do not let anyone guide you elsewhere. Take the high road and you shall reach your destination with peace of mind. Those that try to sway or disrupt your journey are lessons to be learned, Obstacles to overcome.
