We are now entering into the last few months of 2023 and the world is shifting significantly. There have been many technological developments, societal changes, and a coming shift in the global world order. You may think what does this have to do with art. At moments of major change, art is the very thing that can assist during these new developments. We believe that the various mediums of artistic expression are pivotable to traversing these coming new paradigms on planet Earth. So if you are an artist, keep making art. If you are a supporter of art, keep supporting. We here at EIF are contiuning to do our part to add to the diverse tapestry of the artistic world. The Captain Che Quartez has been sharing an immense amount of art the last few years. gotchaman! is adding more as well. If you have supported our continuning mission of expressing art, Thank you very much. Currently, there is an abundance of things that can occupy your focus and attention. Palavras is one of my new favorite words. Can you believe I actually have favorite words. lol. Palavras actually means words in Portuguese..... Oh the rabbit hole of language is so deep. So whether its "words" or "palavras" or any other letters, signs or symbols, one thing is for sure. The power of language is immense. Language and words shape realities and create worlds. They win wars and effect markets. They define our very existence. In our never ending journey of creativity, words are our artistic tools. So we should be mindful of this when creating. Our art will be heard and the messages we send will be received. So take a moment and ponder what messages am I sending? Are you sharing ideas that will lift those who encounter your art? Or are you spreading vibes that will lead them down a path of self destruction. Many people look to artists for guidance. While we may not be perceived as the best option for that role by many, it is the position alot of us have. We owe it to those who engage with our art to leave them a little happier, a little smarter, a little wiser, a little more informed, a little bit better than before they found our art. Is that what you are currently doing? Hopefully so. If not, its for you to decide if you will undertake this journey. The choice is yours. Doing art is so gratifying as I'm sure you already know. Live Your Artist Truth

The end of another cycle is near completion. Have you created this year? Have you engaged in ART this year? I hope you have. If so bravo, expressing your self will add to your overall wellbeing. So keep creating, keep healing, keep going. The world has significantly shifted from what it once was, hopefully this is only temporary. But whether it is the new status quo or temporary it matters not. Keep doing what you are doing. Live your truth. Be the artist that you are. You were born to add your diverse interpretation and perspective to this cosmic tapestry. The world is a better place with your voice. Back in 2014 only 4 years into this EIF journey, a podcast was born. A "Captain" would talk about flicks. 😁 Not knowing much about podcasting, this "Captain" did it anyway. A bit crude, a bit unrefined but still kept sharing his unique perspective with the world. Now fast forward 6 years later, the "Captain" is still bolding going where no podcast has gone before.😉 We want to wish the The Captain Talks Flicks Podcast a happy birthday and look forward to many more. 🎂🎂🎂🎂

This Too Shall Pass

As we begun 2020 there was a certain path we all hoped to travel, unfortunately our journey has temporarily been detoured. It may be a road that we prefer not to travel, but nonetheless we are here. And on this short deviation we may be feeling uneasy, anxious, fear ect.... And rightly so. Our patterns and routines have been disrupted. There is much uncertainty. But there is one thing we know for sure. We are human beings who surmount the toughest obstacles. We built the pyramids, we landed on the moon, we split the atom. During numerous challenging times throughout history we triumphed over adversity. We did the impossible. When the going got tough, we got tougher. So trust in the fact that this too shall pass. And when it's all said and done, know we will be stronger, smarter, sharper..... because we have an indomitable spirit, one that does not back down easy. So be patient. Be strong. Be human. and before you know it things will be good once again
